Alec Baldwin’s chat-show has been axed by MSNBC after his now infamous row with a photographer, in which he allegedly used the phrase “c**ksucking f*g”.

The former 30 Rock actor later denied using the second word, and said he didn’t realise the first was a homophobic slur.

MSNBC had initially suspended Up Late With Alec Baldwin, but now it has officially been canned. Speaking to Gossip Cop in a statement, the network and Baldwin’s rep confirmed:

“We are jointly confirming that Up Late will not continue on MSNBC.”

Joan Rivers has waded in on the incident, making it clear she has no time for political correctness.

Using a string of very sensitive terms, she ranted to a TMZ cameraman:

“Everybody is either a wop, a n****r, a k**e, a ch**k, a fairy, a mick… everybody’s something, so why don’t we all just calm down?

“Be thankful that we’re all living in America, and stop everybody getting so damn uptight.”
