A scene explaining Chris Fountain’s sudden exit from Coronation Street has already been filmed, according to a new report.
Fountain was fired yesterday following a brief suspension, which was issued when offensive videos of him rapping about violence and rape were found online. According to the Daily Star, bosses have already scrambled together a scene in which his character Tommy’s disappearance is explained.

Apparently it is mentioned that he caught a plane away from Weatherfield following an explosive row with girlfriend Tina (Michelle Keegan).
Tina will allegedly be seen arriving back at her flat when David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) will tell her: “Tommy proper kicked off. He packed a bag and went off to the airport.”
Fountain said following his dismissal:
“I completely understand that ITV had no choice but to terminate my contract today. I have had two wonderful years playing Tommy Duckworth with only happy memories of my time on Coronation Street.”
