Katy Perry has unveiled the artwork for her new album Prism. The LP, which follows 2010’s enormously successful Teenage Dream, will be released next month.

The cover art was shown on US TV today on Good Morning America, and has also now been shown on Twitter. It shows Katy standing in a field, clutching a gold chain.

She captioned it:

“If you missed it on the JUMBOTRON on @GMA, here it is – my #PRISM album cover, shot by the wonderful Ryan McGinley!”

The album’s lead single ‘Roar’ has also just had its video premiere, and is likely to notch up a multi-million view count in its first 24 hours alone. The track also finally reached the No1 spot in the US yesterday; marking her eighth chart-topper.

The song is also leading the race to No1 in the UK, and is set to become one of the Top 5 fastest-sellers of 2013.
