Liam Payne confirms new relationship with school friend

Liam Payne is now in a relationship with an old friend from school, it has been confirmed. The One Direction heart-throb’s love life has been under intense speculation ever since he split up from Danielle Peazer, a backing dancer he met on The X Factor, earlier this year.

The new lucky lady is Sophia Smith – with whom he attended St Peter’s Collegiate School.

Speaking to Yahoo! omg!, he said of the romance:

“It’s new.”

It was previously alleged that he flew her out to Los Angeles last week so they could spend time together. She is also apparently getting along like a house on fire with Zayn Malik’s girlfriend Perrie Edwards, and Louis Tomlinson’s partner Eleanor Calder.
