Star Wars bosses have allegedly eyed-up Maisie Richardson-Sellers, an unknown British actress, for the new movies. Richard-Sellers is an Oxford-educated actress whose only credits thus far are university productions and a short film.
She is said to be lined up to play a descendent of Ob-Wan Kenobi, although it has not been confirmed.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Disney and Lucasfilm are currently in the midst of a huge casting search in London ahead of the start of filming next month, with Richardson-Sellers at the top of their list.
No names have been confirmed for the movie yet, which is being directed by JJ Abrams.
