New boyband The Vamps look set to narrowly miss out on the No1 spot for the third consecutive time.

The four-piece released their new single ‘Last Night’ earlier this week, and are currently trailing Sigma’s ‘Nobody To Love’ in the midweek charts.

Around 18,000 copies separated the two songs at the half-way point of the sales week, according to the Official Charts Company.

The Vamps’ debut single ‘Can We Dance’ also charted at No2, while ‘Wild Heart’ was displaying at the same position in the midweeks but ended up finishing at No3.

Elsewhere, The Saturdays are looking set to miss out on the Top 10 with their new single ‘Not Giving Up’, which is currently at No11; and The Voice UK winner Jermain Jackman languishes outside the Top 40 at No50.

Runner-up Sally Barker is having slightly better luck, and is currently No35 with her spin of Olly Murs’ ‘Dear Darlin”.
