Robin Thicke has spoken out in support of Miley Cyrus, after their duet at August’s VMAs sparked a long-running backlash. Controversy has raged on over their performance, which saw Cyrus dancing provocatively on Thicke wearing very little clothing. The future has been ongoing ever since.
Thicke claimed that she has been treated unfairly, and insisted that he wouldn’t change anything if he had to do the performance all over again.
He told E! News:
“Miley and I had a blast. She’s a great girl. Great family. We went out there to raise some eyebrows and provoke some energy, so we accomplished our goal.”
Robin’s own wife Paula Patton recently said that the scandal “doesn’t affect” her, while Miley has said that MTV had threatened to cut some elements of the rendition prior to it being broadcast.
It seems the debate over it will never end!
