EastEnders actor RIcky Norwood has been suspended from the show after being caught on camera smoking cannabis.
The actor, who plays Fatboy, was confirmed today (April 1) to be taking a forced hiatus from the popular BBC One soap.
“Ricky Norwood has been suspended from the show for a period of two months with immediate effect,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

“In addition, Ricky would like to apologise to EastEnders’ viewers for any offence caused and for bringing the show into disrepute.”
He was also seen performing a sex act during the Skype chat which leaked and made tabloid news.
Norwood has been appearing on EastEnders since 2010 and won a National Television Award in 2011.
