Oops! Selena Gomez’s new album Stars Dance has been leaked online a week ahead of its official release date. The album, which is the singer’s first musical venture away from her band The Scene, has a UK release date of July 22 and a US date of July 23.
Fans have been quick to praise the set since it surfaced online, but many have pledged to buy a copy of it as well, despite initially listening to it illegally. Stars Dance includes ‘Come & Get It’, the Stargate-produced track that was reportedly originally intended for use by Rihanna. The single was finally released in the UK this week and is on course to chart inside the Top 10 on Sunday.
In response to the leak, Selena’s team have made the set available to stream in full on iTunes; although it still can not be legally downloaded until next week. Selena Gomez and The Scene released three albums together; the last of which was the critically-lauded When The Sun Goes Down, released in 2011.
