The X Factor USA gave fans a shock when popular boyband Restless Road were surprisingly eliminated.
The trio, mentored by Simon Cowell, had never been in the Bottom Two before, but polled the fewest number of public votes.

In the first results show of the season that did not feature a double elimination, the boys were told they had finished in fourth place and would be leaving the competition.
That means that Cowell’s other act, Alex & Sierra, will be competing in next week’s finale, alongside Paulina Rubio’s act Carliot Olivero, and Kelly Rowland’s Jeff Gutt.
Ratings for the series have continued to be disappointing, with numbers now regularly settling below 5 million in recent weeks. It is thought that the show will be axed by Fox, and Cowell will return to judge the UK version.
Last year’s winner, Tate Stevens, has recently signed with a new agency after his debut album only reached No18 on the Billboard charts.
