The Jonas Brothers have devastated fans the world over by confirming they will no longer record and perform music together.
The famous siblings – Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas – surprised their following earlier this month when they suddenly scrapped their entire tour just a few days before it was due to begin.
In an unexpected display of honesty, their spokesperson said that the move was made due to a “deep rift” over the direction the band’s trademark pop-rock music was taking.
They were due to unveil their new studio album in the coming months, but this will now never see the light of day.
“It’s over for now,” Kevin confirmed to US magazine People.
“It’s really hard to say ‘forever’,” Nick added. “We’re closing a chapter, for sure.”
Joe said:
“It was a unanimous decision.”
Fans who followed the trio since their first release, 2006’s It’s About Time, have been mourning the split on Twitter. They also won thousands of teen hearts with their appearance alongside Demi Lovato in the two Camp Rock movies.
