Britney Spears is rumoured to be making her first televised performance for several years as she officially confirms her Las Vegas residency. The superstar is expected to appear on US TV this week to announce the long-rumoured stint in Sin City – and gossip from the US suggests that she will be doing it all from the middle of nowhere.
It is thought that 1,350 people will be part of the spectacle, and Spears herself will turn up by helicopter at 4am to prepare.

She’ll also perform at the iHeart Radio Music Festival from Vegas this Saturday (September 21).
This weekend she officially debuted her new single ‘Work Bitch’, after a leak made its way around the internet over the weekend. The track has made it to No1 in over 35 countries already.
The song won’t be out in the UK, however, until October.
