Danielle Lloyd has insisted that she does not agree with Katie Price’s recent comments about maternity leave being “an excuse to do nothing”. Lloyd is currently pregnant with her third sprog, while Katie is expecting her fourth.
At the launch of her new maternity wear collection, she told Digital Spy:
“I didn’t even know she said that. Obviously for people who go to work every day nine to five it is important that they get time off.

“Most women don’t go on maternity leave until two or three weeks before they have the baby, so it’s a stressful time and I think they deserve a break. I think it’s important, definitely.”
The ex-Celebrity Big Brother inmate also insisted that she has no idea what sex Katie’s baby is – but Katie herself knows.
“Katie’s my friend and she does tell me most things,” she said. “I know she knows what she’s having, but I don’t know that. She’s keeping very tight lipped.
“Her pregnancy is quite difficult this time, whereas I’ve been finding it less stressful because I’ve been concentrating on my boys and concentrating on my collection. We’ve seen each other throughout our pregnancies, but I think it’s better we meet up once she has her baby and hopefully [our children will] be best of friends.”
Yesterday it was reported that Katie was hospitalised while abroad due to scary complications with her pregnancy.
