Diana Ross’s son Evan has landed a role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2. The actor is currently dating Ashlee Simpson, and joins a growing cast of rising talent in the movies – which will be released on November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015 respectively.
Evan will play the role of Messalla; joining Stef Dawson as Annie Cresta and Natalie Dormer as Cressida. It has been rumoured that Julianne Moore is also on the bill.
Francis Lawrence – no relation to leading lady Jennifer – will direct both of the concluding parts of the franchise, as well as the upcoming second instalment Catching Fire.

That film’s premiere will be held in London on November 11 of this year, ahead of its release on November 22.
The Hunger Games’ first film was a huge global success last year, rising Jennifer’s profile and also taking Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson to new levels of stardom.
