X Factor judge Louis Walsh seems to have ended – or at least forgotten – his feud with Kimberley Walsh (no relation). The ex-Girls Aloud star was managed by Walsh in the early days of her career, but has since said that the girl-band had a terrible relationship with him – as he had no time for them whatsoever.
However, today he called Kimba a “really nice girl” while appearing alongside his X Factor mentees on ITV daytime show Lorraine.

When host Lorraine Kelly said that she thought contestant Luke Friend looked a little like Kimberley, Louis laughed:
“Yes! Yes! It’s funny and Kimberley is a really nice girl, absolutely gorgeous girl.”
Louis also defended his decision to send Paul Akister out of the talent show at the Judges’ Houses phase, in favour of Luke, Sam Callahan and Nicholas McDonald. He reasoned:
“I think I picked the right three.
“I love Paul [Akister] but do you know what, I want Paul to come back next year… I really, really do. I think he’s amazing, I think he’s vocally incredible, world class but he needs to work on everything else and I think next year he’ll be incredible.”
