Miley Cyrus has said she couldn’t name a One Direction song because she listens to urban music. The former Hannah Montana star has managed to stay completely oblivious to the tunes of the British boyband – though she has admitted that she met Harry Styles once. Maybe.
Speaking to Heat, she said: “Don’t ask me to name a song or something because I can’t do that. I know what they look like.”I think I met Harry, I think, backstage, I don’t really remember that much. I just remember my sister was super-excited.”
She added: “I don’t really know them that much, that is bad, but I listen to urban.” Cyrus had been in the UK for a lengthy promotional stint, ahead of the release of her new single ‘We Can’t Stop’ next month.
The track has very nearly had 100 million views on YouTube – although it has accrued 555,000 Dislikes to sit alongside its 615,000 Likes.One Direction recently broke Miley’s record for most video views in one day, thanks to their new clip ‘Best Song Ever’.
