Miley Cyrus has returned to the stage for the first time after postponing a string of gigs due to ill-health. In April the singer was hospitalised after suffering an allergic reaction to antibiotics, leading her to delay a number of shows until the summer.
However, tonight the BANGERZ tour got thoroughly back under way in London for a date at the O2 Arena.
“I took some s**tty antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection, and I had a reaction,” she said at a press conference beforehand.
“I’m feeling good, I’m alive, so that’s f*cking awesome. Look at me, I’m the poster child for good health.”
She added:
”I’ve been laying down for three weeks. I’m gonna go off — I’m like a star waiting to explode.”
