She’s the biggest talking point in the world right now, so you can see why Miley Cyrus has been snapped up by Saturday Night Live bosses to host and perform on an episode of the show.
The popular sketch series will be back for its 39th year at the end of this month, and Miley has been confirmed to front the second episode of the run – due to air on October 5.
As if that wasn’t enough, she’ll also perform tracks from her new album BANGERZ, which will be unveiled just a few days later.
Before that, however, Tina Fey will be hosting the first episode of the new run. The comedian left the show in 2006 to focus on her new series 30 Rock, but will be back for her fourth stint as guest host. Arcade Fire will provide the music while she hosts.
In the week after Miley, the third episode, it will be Katy Perry providing the music – one week ahead of the release of her album Prism. That episode will be guest hosted by Bruce Willis.
The news of the first three episodes comes after previous rumours that it would be Lindsay Lohan taking to the stage. However, that speculation was swifty shot down by representatives.
Will you tune in to watch Tina, Miley and Bruce hosting? We will!
