Sam Evans has been named the winner of Big Brother 2013. The housemate – who said he wanted to be a role model for other partially deaf young people – has walked away with a £100,000 prize fund following the result.
Dexter Koh finished as runner-up, despite the huge popularity of Gina Rio in most online polls. She ended up finishing third.
Twins Jack and Joe Glenny polled fourth, and Charlie Travers was ejected first, taking fifth place.
Sam said of the result:
“I can’t believe it. I am lost for words. I’m trying to think of a comparison but I can’t. I’m shaking. I just can’t believe it.”
