Selena Gomez has revealed that the best day of her life so far was when she saw Britney Spears in concert as a youngster. Selena shot to fame as a House of Mouse star in the naughties with a leading role on Wizards Of Waverly Place, before embarking on a music career that has so far spanned four hit albums. However, it was a moment before all of that came to be that she counts as her favourite.
“The Baby One More Time… concert was amazing,” she told i-D magazine. “I sat all the way up in the nosebleeds and I could barely see her, but I remember it being the best day of my life.

“I had my hair in a ponytail and I knew all the words to the songs. I’ll always remember it.” She also said that her own next tour will be “bigger and better” than before when it rolls around the world from later this month.
Selena split with Justin Bieber earlier this year, but seems to be pulling the focus back to her music – and it’s certainly working. Her new album Stars Dance is currently atop the US Billboard charts – the first time she has ever been in that position.
