The X Factor USA dropped to yet another all-time low in the ratings last night, diving to an 18-49 demo rating of only 1.0.
The figure is its worst in its three-year history, as the show struggled to find an audience against coverage of a major Thanksgiving football game.
Its overall viewership was only 3.75 million – representing yet another low point for the ailing talent show, which is not expected to return in 2014.
Glee also had a terrible night, dipping to its own new low of a 0.9 demo rating and 2.80 million viewers.
There was also bad news for Lady Gaga’s Thanksgiving special. The star’s much-anticipated show alongside The Muppets managed only 3.62 million viewers, scoring a demo rating of 0.9.
No show managed to top football coverage, with NBC’s broadcast netting 18.61 million viewers and a gigantic 6.0 demo rating.
