One Direction’s Zayn Malik has apparently popped the question to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards – and she’s said yes!
The stars’ engagement was confirmed today by the ‘Wings’ singer’s mother after speculation hit fever pitch yesterday. Perrie was spotted at the premiere of the boyband’s This Is Us movie with a ring on her ring finger – sending fans into overdrive over the possibility of an upcoming pop wedding.

Deborah Edwards told Real Radio:
“Yes, it’s true. They got engaged on Sunday and it’s absolutely lovely.
“It’s wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It’s just perfect and they get on so well together. It’s just fabulous.”
Jonnie Edwards, Perrie’s brother, has also confirmed the rumours, writing:
“Right, My sister and Zayn ARE Engaged! It’s true! You seen the ring on the finger and all that jazz! CONGRATS!!!”
A rep confirmed:
“Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private.”
The couple began dating at the beginning of 2012.
