A spokesperson for Taylor Swift has denied a rumour suggesting she originally liked One Direction’s Zayn Malik, before instead dating Harry Styles.
A report by Life & Style magazine has been labelled false by the ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ singer’s rep, after it claimed the dark-haired hunk turned her down fairly quickly.
Zayn is, of course, now engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards – whom he has been dating for over a year.

An insider had claimed to the magazine:
“When Zayn found out she was interested, he turned her down.”
They later added that “that’s when she swooped in on Harry.”
Taylor and Harry dated briefly in late 2012, but broke-up after an alleged massive fight over the New Year period. Both parties are thought to have remained single ever since.
Taylor also then released ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ as a single, and seemingly confirmed it was written about Harry when she said the boy who inspired it was present at the Brit Awards in February.
