Rita Ora will team up with her boyfriend Calvin Harris on her upcoming new single.
The singer will release ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ as the first cut from her second studio album, two years after she burst onto the scene on DJ Fresh’s ‘Hot Right Now’.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1, she told Nick Grimshaw of the new tune:
“I can’t wait. I’ve been working on my new album for about a year.
“The song I’m going to release features an incredible talent in Calvin Harris. It’s called ‘I Will Never Let You Down’. I actually think it’s one of the coolest songs I’ve ever heard, in my mind.”
Probed on the experience of working with her lover, she mused:
“Honestly, it was so natural. I wouldn’t have done it if it didn’t make any sense. I was never really against [working with] people I’m involved with [and] doing something personally.
“We were sitting at home, he started humming and then I started humming and then we hummed together!”
