Alesha Dixon gave birth to her first daughter last week, she has confirmed.
The singer and Britain’s Got Talent mentor has named the baby girl Azura Sienna, and she was born just one week ahead of Dixon’s own birthday.
She announced on Twitter:
“Thank you for all of your lovely birthday messages! I’ve had the best present in the world………

“My baby girl Azura Sienna was born last week!!! I’m elated and over the moon 🙂 x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x”
When some pointed out that it was a quick birth, given that she only announced her pregnancy back in June, Dixon admitted:
“”It seems quick because I was hiding it for so long!!! I was in my 6th month of pregnancy at the Britain’s Got Talent final!”
The baby’s father is Azuka Ononye, who met Alesha in 2006 as a back-up dancer.
