Britney Spears has officially announced her new single – entitled ‘Work Bitch’. The star will premiere the track, which is the first cut from her upcoming eighth studio album, on Monday, September 16.
The song will then be available to download in the US from midnight on Tuesday, September 17 – the day she has been counting down to on her official website since mid-August.
She wrote on Facebook:
“RED RED RED HOT RED ALERT: Work Bitch is going to premiere WORLDWIDE this Monday, Sept 16th at 6pm ET.
“You can listen on iHeartRadio or your local radio station.”
She added:
“Work Bitch will be available on iTunes that night at 12:01am ET, Sept 17th… are u ready?! #YouBettaWorkB #1Week”

The star has already shared photos of herself looking stunning on the music video shoot. The track follows ‘Ooh La La’, the song she recorded in dedication to her children for the soundtrack to The Smurfs 2.
