Daniel Radcliffe has confessed that he doesn’t really miss working on the Harry Potter movies. The British actor was made into a global superstar by the franchise, which ran for eight movies and broke several Box Office records around the globe.
Radcliffe has enjoyed a great career since the series came to an end, and was speaking while in Toronto promoting his new movies The F Word, Horns and Kill Your Darlings.
He told the Daily Telegraph:
“I’m excited that people will finally get a chance to see me do different stuff. We had a fantastic time doing Harry Potter but it’s really exciting to move on and do other things.
“I wouldn’t be sitting here talking to you all if it weren’t for Harry Potter. I have no illusions about that.
“But I don’t particularly miss it. I’m very happy doing other things now.”
On his former co-star Emma Watson, he said he hasn’t run into her for a while, but added: “I’m sure I’ll bump into her at one point.
“But we were all together for ten years, so we’re excited to be going off and working with new people now.”
