Luptia Nyong’o is officially on board for Star Wars: Episode VII, it has been confirmed.
The Oscar winner will join the likes of Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson and Daisy Ridley in the upcoming film; which has begun shooting over the last few weeks.

After the news was confirmed on the movies’ official site, Nyong’o posted on Instagram: “I can finally say it out loud and proud: I’m going to a galaxy far far away!”.
Also on board is Game Of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie, although the exact roles to be played by both stars are being kept tightly under-wraps for the time being.
The film will also feature John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow, alongside returning favourites Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
