Misha B has reportedly been dropped by her record label after three singles. The singer was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011 and finished in fourth place; picking up huge acclaim from the judging panel, who claimed she was among the most talented artists the show had ever seen.
Last year her debut single ‘Home Run’ charted at No11, following which ‘Do You Think Of Me’ entered and peaked at No9. However, her most recent single – ‘Here’s To Everything’ – only made it as far as No35, despite being playlisted by BBC Radio 1.
Her name has now been removed from label website Relentless Records, prompting speculation that her contract has been terminated. This comes weeks after it was also suggested that Amelia Lily, who finished third on the same series of the ITV talent hunt, had also lost her deal.
The blonde’s debut ‘You Bring Me Joy’ soared to No2 last September, but follow-up ‘Shut Up (And Give Me Whatever You Got)’ only made it to No11 and ‘Party Over’ failed to lift higher than No40.
Her album Be A Fighter was then cancelled, with fans being told that pre-orders had been scrapped.
