Britney Spears has won a new poll, picking up the title for Best Debut Single of the Last 20 Years. The hitmaker’s 1998 breakthrough ‘…Baby One More Time’ finished miles ahead of the competition in a Top 50 list compiled by AMAZEPOP. The runner-up was, surprisingly, S Club 7… ahead of their own member Rachel Stevens at No3 with her solo track.

Big names like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Cheryl Cole and the Spice Girls had to settle for lower spots in the Top 10, whilst Rihanna finished right down at No50 with ‘Pon De Replay’.
