Kelly Clarkson will reportedly get married within the next month, after applying for a 30-day marriage licence. The ‘Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)’ singer got engaged to Brandon Blackstock last December, and are thought to have applied for the necessary marriage paperwork earlier this week.
They have signed their full names on the paperwork, and it’s valid for 30 days from the date of its issue – according to E! Online. This means they’ll tie the knot within the next month. It’s a busy period for Clarkson, as she also has her Christmas album out on October 28 in the US, and December 2 in the UK.
She’s also joked that she would like to fall pregnant before Christmas – adding that she’s not bothered at all about waiting before starting a family.
“I want babies, like, right off the bat,” she said. “Well, I’m totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl—I know it in my soul!”
After admitting she’d already got the names planned, she refused to give away what they were. “I can’t tell you,” she laughed.
“No, I’m not giving my secrets away. People will steal my name. What if I don’t have kids right now, they’ll steal my names!”
