Queen Elizabeth II turned 88 on Easter Monday, and a new portrait was unveiled in celebration.
The snap was taken by David Bailey at Buckingham Palace in March, as part of the government’s new GREAT Britain tourism campaign.
The Royal family have been attracting their fair share of headlines over recent weeks, thanks to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge; Prince William and Kate Middleton.
They have been on their Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand along with Kate’s son George, Prince of Cambridge.
Today they were seen arriving at an Easter service in Sydney as their tour enters its final stages.
