Stella, the hit show written by and starring Gavin And Stacey’s Ruth Jones, has been renewed for a fourth season.
The heartwarming comedy, which airs on Sky1, sees Jones playing the titular character, following her life in a small Welsh town.
Digital Spy confirms that the channel has ordered ten more episodes of the show, which will go into production later in 2014.
Head of Comedy at Sky Entertainment, Lucy Lumsden said:
“Stella’s continued success has been a massive part of comedy’s journey on Sky1 HD. With its Welsh warmth and wit, we are delighted to bring back the fourth series for our customers.”
Stella is currently in the middle of its third run on Sky, with a Christmas special slated to air this December.
Jones’ own company Tidy Productions will continue to take charge of production duties.
