US actor Aaron Paul has said he is open to a role in the upcoming Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul.
The star played Jesse in the major series, which concluded last year. However its off-shoot, focussing on Bob Odenkirk’s lawyer Saul Goodman, is still in the pipeline.
Speaking at the BAFTA Television Awards, Paul told reporters: “[I’ll be in it] if they’ll have me.
“It’s a prequel, so it’d be nice to play Jesse Pinkman again in his happier times.”
The show won the International Series gong at the prizegiving bash, beating House Of Cards, Borgen and The Returned.
The actor credited Netflix with the show’s popularity, saying:
“It took many years for the UK to find a home for Breaking Bad – I think it finally found its way after Netflix started airing it.
“I know I’m biased, but I truly believe it’s one of the greatest television shows that’s ever been made.”
