Rapper Kanye West has started a huge feud with talkshow host Jimmy Kimmel. Kanye gave a lengthy interview to BBC Radio 1 this week, prompting Kimmel to spoof it. Kanye was clearly unamused by the parody, and apparently phoned him up to rant at him about it.
When the phone call didn’t go the way he wanted it to, Kanye then took to his Twitter page to rant that Kimmel is a “manipulative media motherf***er”.
On his chatshow last night, Kimmel mentioned the fight and declared proudly:
“Finally, I’m in a rap feud! I always wanted to be in a rap feud. Right now we’re at DefKanye Five.”
Referencing the phone call, he joked:
“[Kanye] told me I had two choices – #1 Apologise publicly…. and that was really the only choice.”
Kanye’s interview has prompted a row (BBC Radio 1)
In spite of the drama, Kimmel insisted that Kanye was “very nice” when they met at a wedding.
