Girlband Little Mix have revealed that they are barely in contact with label boss Simon Cowell. The group – comprised of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – won Cowell’s show The X Factor back in 2011; the first season for which he was not on the judging panel.
Despite hearing from him every now and again via Twitter, the girls have now said that he was not involved in the making of their new album Salute, which is due out in November.
“We don’t really work with him to be honest,” Jesy Nelson said during a Google+ Hangout.
Perrie Edwards chimed in:
“We see him on the TV every now and again.”
The girls’ new single ‘Move’ is out on November 3, and the girls recently described it as “a risk”.
They told Digital Spy:
“It’s so different that it means you have to listen to it a few times to get your head around it.”
